Report: Liverpool competing with Borussia Dortmund to sign Ousmane Dembele
The 2015-16 Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year is reportedly the subject of a bidding war between two of Europe's most beloved clubs.
According to Ed Aarons of the Guardian, Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund are competing for the signature of Stade Rennais' Ousmane Dembele, who said Tuesday: "I know where I am going."
At only 18 years of age, Dembele is apparently valued at almost £28 million, having scored 12 goals and five assists through 25 Ligue 1 appearances. He allegedly claimed he would prefer a move to the Bundesliga and visited Dortmund's training ground, while further evidence of a move to the German club surfaced one week ago, when he liked a tweet featuring an image of himself in a yellow shirt and followed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on Twitter.

Dembele is reportedly believed to have spoken with Jurgen Klopp on the phone, but a transfer to Liverpool could apparently be complicated by "a potential legal wrangle" involving his long-term representative.
Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester City have also been linked with Dembele throughout the Premier League season.
