Ryan Garcia thinks he'd easily dispatch Jake Paul if they ever met in the boxing ring.
"If Jake fights the way he fought with Mike (Tyson), I genuinely believe I would knock him out within four or five rounds," Garcia said Tuesday on "The Ariel Helwani Show."
Earlier this month, Garcia revealed he plans to pursue a match against Paul next year following an exhibition bout against Japanese kickboxer Rukiya Anpo, which is scheduled to take place in Tokyo on Dec. 30. Garcia is currently serving a one-year suspension from the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) for two failed drug tests.
Paul is coming off a unanimous decision win over Tyson, the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion. The fight, which was held Nov. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, was largely uneventful, and Paul admitted afterward he carried Tyson throughout it.
Garcia said a fight between the two would be "huge" - Paul, a 27-year-old former YouTuber, and Garcia, 26, are among the biggest stars in the sport.
Garcia added he hasn't been contacted by Paul's Most Valuable Promotions about a potential bout.
"Everywhere I go, people are asking me to fight Jake Paul," Garcia said. "I gotta give the people what they want. That's what I'm used to doing."
