Conceicao upsets Foster in controversial 'gift from God' decision
Robson Conceicao defeated O'Shaquie Foster to claim the WBC junior lightweight belt on Saturday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey by shocking split decision (116-112, 115-113, 112-116).

The announcers were immediately incredulous, calling the decision in favor of Conceicao "a gift from God."

Foster appeared to outbox an aggressive yet ineffective Conceicao during the match, the latter of whom only landed 11% of his punches throughout the 12-round fight, according to Compubox.

The judges nonetheless chose Conceicao, awarding the Brazilian his long-awaited title and 19th professional win.
Foster's record fell to 22-3 with the shocking loss.
