Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk made weight Friday before they square off in a long-awaited undisputed heavyweight title fight Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion, weighed in at 262 pounds, and Usyk, who holds the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts, tipped the scale at 223.5 pounds. (Michael Buffer mistakenly initially announced Usyk's weight as 233.5 pounds.)
The weight was Fury's lowest since his 2019 win over Otto Wallin when he came in at 254.4 pounds. "The Gypsy King" was approximately 15 pounds lighter Friday than when he weighed in at 277.7 pounds for his last fight against former UFC champion Francis Ngannou in October.
Usyk, meanwhile, came in at his heaviest weight. The Ukrainian's previous career high was 221.5 pounds for a rematch against Anthony Joshua in 2022.
Fury got in Usyk's face during their final staredown, and the two had to be separated:
