Naoya Inoue and Nonito Donaire are set to run it back.
The bantamweights will meet for the WBA, IBF, and WBC titles in a highly anticipated rematch on June 7 in Saitama, Japan, Inoue announced Wednesday.
Inoue, widely considered one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, earned a unanimous decision over Donaire in 2019's consensus Fight of the Year.
Since then, Inoue has rattled off three wins over Jason Moloney, Michael Dasmarinas, and Aran Dipaen, all by knockout. Inoue, who holds the WBA and IBF championships, last competed in December.
Donaire returned to the win column after falling to Inoue, defeating Nordine Oubaali for the WBC title and then retaining the belt against Reymart Gaballo in December.
