Wilder accuses Fury of cheating, dodging rematch: 'Payback is coming'

Deontay Wilder wants another shot at WBC and lineal heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Wilder is not happy that Fury's next opponent may be Carlos Takam, especially since he thinks the champion was taking some liberties in the ring during their last fight in February.

Wilder accuses Fury of cheating in both their previous fights, saying his corner put a foreign object in his glove.
"I highly believe you put something hard in your glove," Wilder said. "Something the size and the shape of an egg weight. It's the reason the side of my face swelled up in an egg weight form and it left a dent in my face as well ... payback is coming."
Fury has previously denied using a blunt object in his gloves during bouts with Wilder.
Wilder added he gave Fury the initial title shot and subsequent rematch because he's "a man of my word." Now he wants Fury to return the favor and live up to the agreement their February rematch established.

The pair's first fight was a split decision draw on Dec. 1, 2018. Fury won the rematch on Feb. 22, 2020, when the fight was stopped during the seventh round after Wilder's corner threw in the towel because he was bleeding from the ear.
