The man helping Mike Tyson prepare for his upcoming exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr. thinks the boxing legend could hold his own against today's top heavyweights.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, trainer Rafael Cordeiro said the 54-year-old Tyson looks better than he did a decade ago and could hang with the likes of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and Deontay Wilder.

"I believe Mike can do it. If he put his mind - he wanna fight for the belt one day, why not? Who says it's impossible to do?" Cordeiro said. "He's fighting every single day in the gym and I believe the best is still to come. Why not? If one day he wants to prove (and) put his techniques (to the) test, why not (fight for) for the belt?"

Tyson and Jones are set to square off Nov. 28 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. It will be Tyson's first match since 2005.
