Report: BIG3 tabs 'Big Brother' producers for quarantined reality show

The BIG3 is moving forward with the concept of a quarantined basketball tournament reality show by partnering with EndemolShineGroup, the production company behind "Big Brother," "The Voice," and "MasterChef," sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

The working title is said to be "Big Brother: Big 3" and the show would reportedly debut in the first week of May.

The proposed format would apparently see 16 players - including the possibility of top female players - compete for a seven-figure cash prize.

After testing negative for coronavirus, players and referees would be sequestered in a mansion in Los Angeles, with both on-court competition and day-to-day life being captured by cameras.

BIG3 founders Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz are reportedly still determining the exact rules of the competition, but those who break quarantine would be eliminated and removed from the site.
