VIDEO: NYPD releases footage of officer tackling former tennis player James Blake

Surveillance footage showing a police officer tackling and handcuffing former tennis pro James Blake in a case of mistaken identity was released by the New York Police Department on Friday.

The officer who took Blake down in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel allegedly mistook Blake for a suspect in an identity-theft ring.

Blake, who had a few bumps and bruises from the incident, received an apology from the the NYPD commissioner.
