The French Open is adjusting its uniform policy in a way that will impact what Serena Williams wears on the court at future editions of the major tournament event.
''I think that sometimes we've gone too far," French Tennis Federation president Bernard Guidicelli said, citing recent sartorial decisions made by the three-time tournament champ in an interview for Tennis Magazine, according to The Associated Press.
Specifically, Williams' all-black, form-fitting shirt and leggings combination "will no longer be accepted," according to Guidicelli. "One must respect the game and the place.''
