- Ronda Rousey continues to lord over the women's Bantamweight division with an iron fist, decimating Alexis Davis in a mere 16 seconds the last time she graced the Octagon at UFC 175 in July.
- After sitting on the shelf for more than a year with a knee injury, Cat Zingano re-established herself as the No. 1 contender to Rousey's throne with a gutsy win over Amanda Nunes in September. "Alpha" will get her shot at gold on Feb. 28 at UFC 184.
- Meisha Tate and Sarah McMann are both charter members of the "Upper-level fighters who got absolutely demolished by Ronda Rousey" club, and they'll decide who is truly No. 3 when they meet at UFC 183 on Jan. 31.
