Report: Michael Crabtree seeking deal worth $4.5 million annually

Former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree is one of the biggest names remaining in free agency and it sounds like he's content to wait a while longer before choosing his next team.

Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports Crabtree recently turned down an offer worth close to $3 million from the Miami Dolphins.

That sounds like good money for a player who isn't exactly sought after, but Crabtree apparently thinks he's worth a lot more. According to Jackson, Crabtree wants $4.5 million next year.

Next up for Crabtree is a visit with the Oakland Raiders. They need a receiver and have plenty of salary cap space to spend, but if they don't bite on Crabtree's demands, it's hard to see any team paying the six-year pro anything close to what he wants.
