7:55 p.m. ET - That does it for the afternoon games. Thanks for following along. See you next week.

7:44 p.m. ET - Matt Ryan is picked off on a Hail Mary attempt to end the game.

7:40 p.m. ET - Battered and beaten all afternoon, Nick Foles fails to produce a touchdown deep in the red zone late in the fourth quarter. His stat line, 199 yards passing and an interception, is not what his fantasy owners have come to expect.

7:33 p.m. ET - Matt Ryan throws an interception to Harrison Smith with the Falcons in catch-up mode. That might be all we see from this offense today. It's a good day for Ryan (three touchdowns and over 250 yards passing), but it's a little disappointing for Julio Jones (70 yards receiving).

7:21 p.m. ET - Teddy Bridgewater limps to a cart and is taken to the locker room. He has an apparent ankle injury.

7:09 p.m. ET - Matt Asiata scores his third touchdown of the game on a fourth-down gamble from the 1-yard line. Incredibly, it's the second three-touchdown game of Asiata's career.

7:04 p.m. ET - Nick Foles seems to be battling several different injuries. His shoulder was reportedly an issue last week, and now he seems to be favoring his knee. Foles has passed for only 103 yards and an interception so far today.

6:58 p.m. ET - The 49ers are clicking now. It feels like many more fantasy points are coming for Kaepernick, Crabtree, Gore and company.

6:40 p.m. ET - After missing Michael Crabtree for what would have been an easy touchdown, Colin Kaepernick throws a dart to Stevie Johnson at the pylon.

6:27 p.m. ET - Devin Hester follows up his huge performance on Thursday Night Football with a 36-yard receiving touchdown.

6:25 p.m. ET - Keenan Allen is up to 125 yards receiving on nine catches. Philip Rivers is closing in on 350 yards passing.

6:07 p.m. ET - Branden Oliver is getting some work out of the Chargers' backfield. Donald Brown has been a disappointment as starter in relief of the injured Ryan Mathews. Brown produced just 25 yards on 10 touches against a poor Jaguars defense. Oliver has 33 yards on five touches.

6:02 p.m. ET - Many fantasy analysts were excited about Cordarrelle Patterson becoming a big part of the Vikings' offense with Adrian Peterson away from the team. It's not happening. In the first half, Patterson had zero catches. It's surprising that the Vikings don't give him some rushing attempts, but they clearly don't believe he's a reliable player right now.

5:54 p.m. ET - Philip Rivers throws his third touchdown of the afternoon. This time, Malcom Floyd is on the receiving end of a pretty 24-yard rainbow.

5:39 p.m. ET - Teddy Bridgewater rips off a 13-yard rushing touchdown. Michael Vick he is not, but he's more athletic than many gave him credit for in the pre-draft process.

5:29 p.m. ET - Eddie Royal just scored another touchdown. The universe doesn't make sense.

5:25 p.m. ET - Offensive line injuries continue to greatly limit the effectiveness of the Eagles' rushing attack. LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles have combined for just six yards on four carries.

5:22 p.m. ET - It took almost a quarter and a half, but Julio Jones is finally becoming a big part of the Falcons' attack. He has back-to-back catches for first downs and looks nearly uncoverable.

5:15 p.m. ET - Ladarius Green is active for the Chargers, but he's not playing. He's in uniform and standing on the sideline.

5:13 p.m. ET - Colin Kaepernick makes a crazy throw back across his body to Frank Gore who then takes it 55 yards to the house for a touchdown.

5:11 p.m. ET - Jerick McKinnon enters the game for the Vikings and rips off a 55-yard run that included several great cuts. The rookie has tremendous raw talent but lacks polish. If he can become a reliable option to pair with Matt Asiata, maybe the Vikings' rushing attack will remain effective without Adrian Peterson.

4:54 p.m. ET - Matt Asiata is in for his second touchdown of the day. He's the opposite of a flashy player, and his yards per carry average is often laughable, but he sure has a nose for the end zone.

4:52 p.m. ET - Eddie Royal continues to score touchdowns (somewhat inexplicably). This time, it's on a 47-yard pass from Philip Rivers. Royal has three receiving touchdowns this season. Keenan Allen has zero. Who saw that coming?

4:47 p.m. ET - Roddy White scores a touchdown in his return to the lineup after sitting out last week with an injury. The Vikings forgot to cover him. That's not ideal.

4:42 p.m. ET - For the first time since November 2013, the Jaguars have a rushing touchdown. Toby Gerhart pounds it in from one yard out.

4:34 p.m. ET - Matt Asiata scores on a short touchdown run. Teddy Bridgewater moved the Vikings offense very effectively on the drive.

4:21 p.m. ET - Mike Glennon throws a touchdown to Vincent Jackson to give the Buccaneers a win in the dying seconds. Glennon finishes at 297 yards passing, two touchdowns and one interception. This is his team now, and it's hard to understand why he wasn't the starter ahead of Josh McCown in Week 1. Glennon could be a hot waiver wire pickup this week.

4:08 p.m. ET - Toby Gerhart fumbles the ball away on the Jaguars' opening series. His nightmare fantasy season continues. Gerhart was a third-round pick in many leagues this summer. He's done nothing.

4:06 p.m. ET - Late afternoon games starting. We're not going anywhere. Keep checking back for fantasy updates.

3:53 p.m. ET - With Bradshaw's touchdown catch, Andrew Luck has four touchdown passes for the second straight week. He's the top-scoring player in fantasy football this season.

3:48 p.m. ET - Ahmad Bradshaw catches his fourth touchdown of the season. He has more receiving scores than Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson and Demaryius Thomas combined. Go figure.

3:40 p.m. ET - Lorenzo Taliaferro keeps rolling for the Ravens. He now has one more carry than Justin Forsett (15-14). Both have scored a rushing touchdown.

3:31 p.m. ET - With the game almost out of reach, the Titans finally start giving rookie Bishop Sankey some touches. He responds by taking his first six carries for 34 yards and a touchdown. If the Titans ever start giving him carries early in the game, he could have real fantasy value. Until then, you can't start him.

3:27 p.m. ET - Mike Evans leaves the game with what looked like a hamstring or groin injury. That's too bad. The rookie was having a breakout day.

3:23 p.m. ET - Lorenzo Taliaferro scores a short touchdown for the Ravens. He and Justin Forsett are running in a two-headed committee. Bernard Pierce is not involved.

3:21 p.m. ET - Aaron Rodgers is up to four touchdowns on the day. Two to Jordy Nelson, and now two to Randall Cobb. All the Packers stars are delivering big numbers in what has become a fantasy bonanza with the Bears.

3:16 p.m. ET - Heath Miller scores for the Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger is over 250 yards passing with three touchdowns against a Buccaneers defense that can't stop anyone right now.

3:11 p.m. ET - Vernon Davis is officially active.

3:05 p.m. ET - Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson hook up for another touchdown. Packers offense is really clicking today.

2:59 p.m. ET - J.J. Watt just returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown. It's his second touchdown of the season. That's not necessarily fantasy-relevant except for IDP leagues, but it's so ridiculous it deserves to be mentioned here.

2:54 p.m. ET - The Raiders turn the ball over immediately and Lamar Miller gets a second chance at a short touchdown. This time, he cashes it in. It's his second touchdown of the afternoon and the first multi-touchdown game of his career.

2:48 p.m. ET - Lamar Miller fumbles a carry from the 1-yard line into the end zone. He simply isn't reliable. Knowshon Moreno will be the starter again the moment he's healthy.

2:33 p.m. ET - DeAndre Hopkins scores. It's the third touchdown of the season for the second-year receiver. He seems to have passed Andre Johnson as the most valuable Texans receiver in fantasy football (and maybe real-life, too).

2:31 p.m. ET - The Titans offense is a fantasy wasteland. Bishop Sankey, the first rookie running back selected in most drafts this summer, didn't touch the ball in the first half.

2:21 p.m. ET - Steve Smith's promise of "blood and guts" against his old team was prophetic. Smith catches his second touchdown of the day despite being mauled by a defender.

2:17 p.m. ET - Lots of scoring in Packers-Bears, and it's all the fantasy studs who are doing it. Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler have each passed for two touchdowns. Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery each with one score.

2:13 p.m. ET - Ben Roethlisberger appears to hurt his hand but remains in the game. Seconds later, he hooks up with Antonio Brown on a 27-yard touchdown. It's Brown's second score of the afternoon.

2:10 p.m. ET - Sammy Watkins scores a five-yard touchdown for the Bills. He joins Mike Evans and Kelvin Benjamin as first-round rookie receivers to score today.

2:08 p.m. ET - We now have some clarity with regards to who's the preferred option in the Ravens' backfield. It's Justin Forsett. He's touched the ball seven times for 67 total yards and has a rushing touchdown. Rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro has just two touches for two yards. Bernard Pierce isn't in the mix.

2:01 p.m. ET - Andre Johnson just lost a fumble for the first time in 82 games. He's having a very rough season. His days as a fantasy WR1 seem to be over. The question now is whether he's even a WR2.

1:57 p.m. ET - Kelvin Benjamin scores a 28-yard touchdown. The rookie has been a revelation. It's his third touchdown this season.

1:54 p.m. ET - DeAngelo Williams is hurt. Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert are already out. If Williams can't return to the game, that leaves undrafted rookie Darrin Reaves as the Panthers' top running back.

1:52 p.m. ET - Calvin Johnson is in and out of the game for the Lions. He's clearly hurting and his coaches are carefully monitoring his usage.

1:50 p.m. ET - Antonio Brown scores. That's his fourth touchdown in four games this season. Elite WR1.

1:38 p.m. ET - Steve Smith catches a crazy touchdown against his former team. The ball was tipped by Owen Daniels right into Smith's hands, and the veteran streaked down the field for a 61-yard score.

1:32 p.m. ET - Calvin Johnson is on the sideline for the Lions. He started despite an ankle injury, but it's possible he tweaked it early in the game.

1:30 p.m. ET - With Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert both injured, DeAngelo Williams is the Carolina Panthers' clear feature back. He has nine carries for 25 yards so far. Rookie Darrin Reaves has two carries for eight yards.

1:24 p.m. ET - Eddie Lacy scores a short touchdown. Owners who traded for him this week after his slow start are poised to reap the rewards.

1:22 p.m. ET - Trent Richardson scores a goal-line touchdown. He's quietly improving every week. Maybe he'll become a startable fantasy player, after all.

1:16 p.m. ET - Owners who trusted that Brandon Marshall would deliver despite his injured ankle are rewarded early. Marshall catches a six-yard touchdown.

1:11 p.m. ET - Chris Ivory is shredding the Lions early in the first quarter. He already has eight carries for 51 yards.

1:07 p.m. ET - Mike Glennon and Mike Evans hook up for the day's first touchdown. It isn't crazy to think that pair could score many more times down the stretch this season. Evans is dripping with talent.

1:05 p.m. ET - Chris Ivory got the start at running back for the Jets. Chris Johnson's fantasy value is all but nonexistent.

1:03 p.m. ET - We're underway for another week! Stay with us all day as you watch the games to stay on top of the most important fantasy news from around the league.

12:57 p.m. ET - Justin Forsett is starting for the Ravens. Probably best to get Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro out of your lineups this week. Need to see how that timeshare shakes out.

12:36 p.m. ET - A few minutes left to get in your sit/start questions. Find me on Twitter @davidpwoods.

12:19 p.m. ET - If you're dealing with a quarterback bye, I would look to Teddy Bridgewater, Blake Bortles, EJ Manuel and Mike Glennon in that order. Consult our final rankings, though, as a better guy may be available in your league.

12:18 p.m. ET - Harder to find attractive deep running backs. I could see starting Lorenzo Taliaferro and Justin Forsett. Jerick McKinnon, too, I suppose.

12:16 p.m. ET - Some deep receivers I like if you're in a pinch this week: Davante Adams, Jeremy Kerley, Markus Wheaton.

12:12 p.m. ET - Latest reports out of Baltimore suggest Bernard Pierce will be eased back into the lineup today. That situation is probably best avoided until we see how it shakes out. Lorenzo Taliaferro and Justin Forsett will both get touches, too.

12:01 p.m. ET - One hour to go until kickoff. I'll take some sit/start questions on Twitter if you have them. Hit me up @davidpwoods

11:48 a.m. ET - For your sit/start questions, consult the final edition of our weekly rankings. Justin Boone, theScore's resident fantasy football expert, is currently ranked as the world's most accurate ranker.

11:46 a.m. ET - Inactive: Jake Locker, Jarrett Boykin, Jonathan Stewart.

11:43 a.m. ET - Eric Decker is expected to be used in a situational role. He's a very risky player for fantasy owners. If you have another option, leave Decker on the bench. He's more likely to be used as a decoy and produce fewer than five fantasy points than he is to score a touchdown.

11:42: p.m. ET - Active: Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Eric Decker, Arian Foster, Maurice Jones-Drew.

11:41 a.m. ET - Welcome to another week of Fantasy Pulse. Let's get this started with some notable actives/inactives for the 1 p.m. ET games.
