49ers' Vernon Davis will not return vs. Eagles after suffering back injury

It's been all bad news out of San Francisco on Sunday.

49ers tight end Vernon Davis has been ruled out of the game against the Philadelphia Eagles after suffering a back injury in the third quarter.

Davis had caught two passes for eight yards prior to leaving.
