Similar to the 3-cone drill in measuring agility and footwork, there are a lot of the same names atop the leaderboard in the 20-yard shuttle run.

Fisher and Marpet have separated themselves in the agility measurements but that's unlikely to push either of them into the first round.

Clemmings, on the other hand, has cemented his status as an offensive tackle that teams will need to look at in the first round. Clemmings was downgraded by a number of teams after a poor performance at the Senior Bowl, but his solid showing Friday should help scouts get past his technique concerns.

Other Notable Performances

  • Ty Sambrailo (OT), Colorado St. - 4.58 sec.
  • La'El Collins (OT), LSU - 4.63 sec.
  • Cameron Erving (C), Florida St. - 4.63 sec.
  • Josue Matias (G), Florida St. - 5.12 sec.

Another solid showing for Sambrailo in this speed/agility drill. That hasn't been the concern for scouts as he's been knocked for his overall strength. He didn't fare as well in the bench press and vertical jump, so he is what he is at this point, needing to develop his upper and lower body strength.

Matias struggled again, finishing second last in the 20-yard shuttle and further hurting his stock. He'll have to shine during his pro day if he wants to put this combine performance behind him.

Collins was middle of the pack in a lot of drills, neither helping nor hurting himself on paper. He's known to be a physical mauler so the agility drills don't accurately predict what he'll be able to do on the field - especially in the run game.
