Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Jacob deGrom (NYM) vs. ATL 10
Brandon Finnegan (CIN) at HOU 9
Julio Teheran (ATL) at NYM 8

Expose your lineups around deGrom, who has the luxury of pitching against the lowly Braves, a team that ranks last in runs scored with 166 over a 67 game span. Power-hitter Freddie Freeman leads Atlanta with 12 round trippers. The next closest? Adonis Garcia with three. Expect deGrom to carve them up.

It's highly unlikely Finnegan will pick up a win against the Astros on Sunday unless he goes nine strong, considering the Reds own one of the worst bullpens in the MLB. Nevertheless, Finnegan has allowed three runs in as many contests and registered quality starts in all three of his June outings.

Teheran lacks the safety and the upside of deGrom, and that's mainly caused by a putrid Braves offense that can't give him support. He has yet to concede more than three earned runs in any game this season and punched out 16 batters over his last two contests.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
David Price (BOS) vs. SEA 7
Kyle Hendricks (CHC) vs. PIT 7
Kenta Maeda (LAD) vs. MIL 6
Carlos Carrasco (CLE) vs. CWS 6
Jameson Taillon (PIT) at CHC 6
Tyler Anderson (COL) at MIA 6
Jordan Zimmerman (DET) at KC 6
Marcus Stroman (TOR) at BAL 6
Chris Tillman (BAL) vs. TOR 6
Drew Pomeranz (SD) vs. WAS 5
Jake Peavy (SF) at TB 5
Tom Koehler (MIA) vs. COL 5
Jake Odorizzi (TB) vs. SF 5
Gio Gonzalez (WAS) at SD 5

The Mariners crush right-handed pitching to the tune of .339 wOBA, but tend to struggle a bit against southpaws, as the team sports a middling .318 wOBA. The Red Sox will send out staff ace and LHP Price, who despite owning an awful 4.52 ERA over 14 starts, is beginning to find the strike zone with consistency - with 18 Ks in his past two contests.

Maeda is set to start for the Dodgers on Sunday despite nursing a leg injury. Even though he's starting, DFS owners will likely fade him and his hefty salary with question marks around his health. Still, Maeda has yet to concede more than four runs in a game while posting an astounding 1.54 ERA and 1.07 WHIP over his last 23.1 innings.

In his first major league start, Anderson hurled a gem at Coors Field. He struck out six batters and gave up just one run over 6.1 innings of work. With a road game against the Marlins, his minimum DFS salary is worth the risk in tournaments.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Carlos Rodon (CWS) at CLE 4
Matt Garza (MIL) at LAD 4
Chris Young (KC) vs. DET 4
Archie Bradley (ARI) at PHI 3
Mike Leake (STL) vs. TEX 3
Jered Weaver (LAA) at OAK 3
Ervin Santana (MIN) vs. NYY 3
Nathan Eovaldi (NYY) at MIN 3
Eric Surkamp (OAK) vs. LAA 2
Zach Eflin (PHI) vs. ARI 2

Young has the daunting task of pitching to the Tigers' scorching-hot offense. Even at home in the friendly confines of Kauffman Stadium, fade him.

Eflin was pelted for three homers and gave up an alarming eight earned runs in just two innings of work in his MLB debut last week.
