Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr. is expected to miss at least four-to-six more weeks as he continues to recover from a turf toe injury in his right foot, the team announced Friday. The Grizzlies confirmed Brandon Clarke and Zach Edey are set to miss time as well.

Jackson underwent surgery in early July after sustaining the toe injury "while participating in a live basketball run offsite." He was originally ruled out for a minimum of 12 weeks.

Memphis re-signed Jackson to a five-year, $240-million extension earlier this summer. The former Defensive Player of the Year is under contract through at least 2028-29 and holds a $53.5-million player option for 2029-30.

Clarke is also on the shelf for at least six weeks, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

The big man is experiencing right knee synovitis that requires arthroscopic surgery, the Grizzlies announced. The former first-round pick missed the final month of last season due to a high-grade PCL sprain but has fully recovered from that injury.

Second-year center Edey is expected to return to play in six-to-nine weeks. The Canadian underwent ankle surgery in June and has now been cleared to begin ramping up basketball activities.

Meanwhile, rookie guard Cedric Coward is slated to be a full participant in training camp following shoulder surgery last November. The No. 11 overall pick in this year's draft missed Summer League while he recovered from the procedure.

Memphis begins the 2025-26 season at home Oct. 22 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
