Report: Sengun suffered sprained ankle, bone bruise vs. Kings
Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun suffered a severe ankle sprain and bone bruise on his knee during Sunday's win over the Sacramento Kings, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
While he hasn't been ruled out for the season, Sengun needs to make significant progress during his rehabilitation to return, according to Wojnarowski.
The Rockets have 18 games left in the campaign.
Sengun left the contest against Sacramento with under a minute to play after trying to contest Domantas Sabonis under Houston's basket. He landed awkwardly on his right leg and appeared to be in considerable pain.

He's averaging 21.1 points through 63 games in his third season, a considerable jump from the 14.8 he posted as a sophomore. Sengun is also registering career highs in rebounds (9.4), assists (five), and steals (1.2) per game.
