Kurt Busch: Fifth-Place at Martinsville
Busch finished fifth in the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The driver of the No. 1 Chevrolet continued his strong string of performances Sunday at Martinsville. Busch led 23 laps and grabbed ninth- and fifth-place finishes in the first two stages. It was a typical and classic Busch short track performance. The closing laps would see him battle with Brad Keselowski but unable to catch the No. 2 Ford for position. Busch would cross the finish line fifth-place at the end of 500 laps. It was his seventh Top 5 of the season and second in the last four races.
