Austin Dillon: Tough Night at Las Vegas
Dillon struggled and finished 32nd in the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Sunday night.
Analysis:
The playoff driver that had the toughest night at Las Vegas was Dillon and the No. 3 RCR team. He looked positioned to capture another Top-10 finish in the South Point 400 but ran into multiple problems mid-race. Dillon's team would commit a pit-road penalty and that would set him back. Not long after, Dillon's Chevrolet would suffer a power-steering failure. He would lose several laps on pit road while the team made repairs. The poor finish dropped Dillon into precarious position in the Chase playoff standings.
