Kevin Harvick: Weekend Sweep of Michigan
Harvick won the Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
Sunday would be an equally dominant performance for the No. 4 Stewart Haas Racing team. Harvick would start 20th on the gird and begin his methodical march to the front at the drop of the green flag. By the end of stage 1 he would be up to eighth-place. When stage 2 kicked off, Harvick charged to the lead by lap 48. He would dominate from there, leading 90 laps for the event. A debris caution would set up a 15-lap dash to the checkered flag. Harvick would hold off Denny Hamlin to win and sweep the Michigan weekend. It was his sixth victory of the season.
