Jimmie Johnson: Starting at rear after 2x fails
Johnson will have to start at the rear of the field for Saturday's Cup Series race at Michigan International Speedway, Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports reports.
Analysis:
Johnson is one of four drivers dropping to the back during pace laps for the race Saturday. Johnson's team failed inspection twice. He would have started 17th, so he will have a lot more work to do as he tries to make the playoffs in his final season.
