Aaron Telitz: Claims First-Career Pole
Telitz claimed his first-career WeatherTech Championship pole in a sweep of the front row in GT Daytona for AIM Vasser Sullivan and Lexus, sportscar365.com reports.
Analysis:
Saturday Road America belonged to Acura, and Telitz was a big part of that equation. He not only led the final practice session, but he lead AIM Vasser Sullivan to a front row sweep in GT Daytona qualifying. Telitz put down a strong 2:06.251 lap and claimed his first-career series pole in just his eighth start. He and Jack Hawksworth will be tough to beat in Sundays Road Race Showcase.
