Kyle Busch: Third at Kansas Speedway

Busch finished third in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway Sunday afternoon.

Analysis:

Sunday at Kansas would be a tough, uphill battle for Busch and the No. 18 team. The Joe Gibbs Racing star didn't qualify that well, and would have to race his way through heavy traffic. Busch would finally break into the Top 10 by the end of stage 2. He would stay there the remainder of the race, and gradually claw his way into the Top 5. Busch couldn't hold off Chase Elliott on the final restart and would have to settle for third-place. It was his 15th Top 5 of the season.
