Analysis:
The driver of the No. 18 Toyota led a one-two punch for Joe Gibbs Racing at the Phoenix oval Friday. Busch and his teammate, Christopher Bell, topped the scoring pylon at the end of the first practice session. The JGR duo was followed by a pair of Fords, Cole Custer and Austin Cindric, with the top lap times. Busch is coming off an impressive and dominant victory this past week at Las Vegas. He'll be tough to beat in Saturday's race at Phoenix.
