Joey Logano: Third in the Clash
Logano finished third in the Advance Auto Parts Clash at Daytona International Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
The No. 22 Ford showed great speed, although Logano was never able to wrestle the lead away from Paul Menard, who dominated most of the short event. In the closing laps before rain would end the event short of full distance, the Penske Racing star worked well with his teammate, Ryan Blaney. The two would draft together in the lead pack until the big crash decimated the field and brought racing to an end. Logano rocketed through the carnage to grab his fourth-consecutive Top-5 finish in the Clash, and sixth-career Top 5 in this season-opening exhibition race.
