Jimmie Johnson: Poor Finish at Michigan
Johnson suffered a flat tire late and finished 28th in the Consumers Energy 400 at Michigan International Speedway Sunday afternoon.
Analysis:
It was a tough end to a long day for the No. 48 Chevrolet team. Johnson led 13 laps in the middle stages of the race, and he was positioned well within the Top 15 in the closing laps. However, a tire would start to go down on his car, and Johnson would have to pit for a quick change in the final laps. He would fall 2 laps down to the leaders and finish a distant 28th in the Consumers Energy 400. Johnson's current Top-10 drought grows to three races after Michigan.
