Erik Jones: Wins Coke Zero Sugar 400
Jones won the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway Saturday night.
Analysis:
After 10 cautions, several multi-car crashes, and the complete mayhem that is Daytona, it all came down to one final overtime restart. Jones would lineup on the outside of Martin Truex Jr. and take all 3 laps to build up the speed and momentum to pass Truex on the last lap. He would get an assist from Chris Buescher pushing the No. 20 Toyota, and that would help Jones to the victory. It was his first-career Monster Energy Cup Series win.
