Denny Hamlin: 10th-Place at Sonoma
Hamlin led 4 laps and battled hard to earn a 10th-place finish in Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.
Analysis:
It was a pretty typical road course performance for the talented Hamlin. He led 4 laps to close stage 2 and took the stage victory in that segment of the race. He would bounce up and down the order at times as teams used varying pit strategies. However, the No. 11 Toyota would have good track position for the final green-flag run to the finish and Hamlin would earn his ninth Top-10 finish of the season. He remains eighth overall in the championship driver standings after Sonoma.
