PHOTO: Coyotes fan wears homemade McDavid jersey to game vs. Avalanche
The Arizona Coyotes are eyeing the top pick in the 2015 NHL entry draft after falling to second-last in the league and some fans are embracing the possibility.
One enterprising fan decided to preempt the draft by creating his own jersey with Connor McDavid's name on the back and wearing it to Thursday's game against the Colorado Avalanche. McDavid is the consensus top pick in the upcoming draft and the Buffalo Sabres are the only team with better odds of landing him.

McDavid isn't the only prize available in the draft. The Coyotes could select generational NCAA talent Jack Eichel if they end up with the second pick like their position in the standings suggests, so this fan was smart enough to tape McDavid's name to his jersey rather than sew it
