  • Matt Ryan moves up four spots into sixth, on the heels of some very nice preseason play. With two of the league's best receivers lining up on the outside and a defense that projects as one of the league's worst, Ryan will have plenty of opportunities to rack up fantasy points.
  • Russell Wilson also jumps four spots, after looking sensational in the preseason. You shouldn't always make judgements based on exhibition games, but Wilson has the look of a top-10 fantasy quarterback. He is comfortable in the Seahawks' offense and has a variety of receivers who can make plays. Wilson can also boost his numbers with yards and touchdowns on the ground.  If you're waiting on a quarterback this year, he should be on your list.
  • It took a few games, but we finally got a glimpse of what Josh McCown can do in Tampa. He pushed the ball downfield to Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans, and he led the team on multiple scoring drives. If his offensive line can keep him standing, McCown will be a strong spot starter in fantasy.
  • It was awful to see Sam Bradford go down for the second straight season. Shaun Hill is one of the better backups in the league, but with an unproven receiving corps, this is a major blow to the team's offense. Hill is only relevant in two-quarterback leagues and is ranked last among the guaranteed starters.
  • It's tough to rank the quarterbacks after Ryan Fitzpatrick. Brian Hoyer is getting the Week 1 start, but Johnny Manziel will likely see more playing time this season. The same sort of situation exists in Minnesota (Matt Cassel/Teddy Bridgewater), New York (Geno Smith/Michael Vick), Jacksonville (Chad Henne/Blake Bortles) and Oakland (Matt Schaub/Derek Carr). The younger quarterbacks represent more fantasy value in all those situations (except for New York), but that's assuming they get a chance to play.
