  • Doug Martin creeps up a few spots to 11th, after the injury to his main competition rookie Charles Sims. Now, no one is standing in Martin's way for carries and the volume is key for his fantasy value.
  • The Steelers appear willing to give LeGarrette Blount a fairly big chunk of the carries in their backfield. Le'Veon Bell will still lead the way, but Blount could drain his fantasy numbers, especially around the goal line.
  • Rookie Andre Williams has flashed his talents at times during the preseason, however, he still has a ways to go. As the year rolls on, he may eat into Rashad Jennings' workload, but the veteran has a solid hold on the job right now.
  • Ben Tate has established himself as the top dog in Cleveland's rushing attack. Terrance West will play a role before the fantasy season ends, but Tate's opportunity can't be denied in the Browns' run-first offense.
  • Mark Ingram had an excellent preseason and while he still has to share a backfield with Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson, he could deliver a strong season for the Saints and more importantly, for fantasy owners.
  • Bishop Sankey hasn't made the transition to the pro game as fast as fantasy owners were hoping and even when the light does come on for the rookie, Shonn Greene will be a factor in the Titans' running game. Greene isn't going to make anyone miss, but playing behind this Tennessee offensive line, he might not have to. Greene is well worth a flier in the 13th round.
