  • Drew Brees is dealing with an oblique strain and has yet to play a game this preseason. If you were Sean Payton and the Saints, you would be just as protective of your franchise quarterback. Brees will be ready to go in Week 1.
  • It may have been against the Raiders, but Matthew Stafford was nearly flawless in the Lions' new offensive system. The addition of Golden Tate and Eric Ebron could push Stafford to new heights.
  • Jay Cutler is also enjoying a near perfect preseason thus far. Cutler is being drafted as the 12th quarterback off the board at the moment, but he has a legitimate chance to finish in the top five at his position by season's end.
  • If you believe Julio Jones and Roddy White are going to be healthy for a full season, then it's hard not to like Matt Ryan in 2014. However, if left tackle Sam Baker's  knee injury causes him to miss significant time, the upgrades to the offensive line will be diminished.
  • Tony Romo was back in action in Week 2 of the preseason and it didn't take long for him to find Dez Bryant for a 31-yard touchdown. Hopefully Romo's back can hold up for a full season.
  • Is it just me or is anyone else worried about Cam Newton? A weakened offensive line, a completely new receiving corps, and a pesky ankle injury are all major red flags.
  • Watching Russell Wilson develop as a quarterback has been highly enjoyable. You can do worse than to end up with him in your draft.
  • Josh McCown is listed higher here than most places, but the interior of his offensive line will need to show that they can protect him or he will drop in next week's rankings.
  • Sam Bradford played in a game for the first time since tearing his ACL last October and performed well against the Packers. Bradford led the Rams offense on an eight-play, 76-yard drive that ended in a touchdown. Bradford was fantasy relevant before the injury last year, so he is worth monitoring.
