DFS: Wednesday's Point Guard Value Rankings

Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's point guard value rankings for Wednesday, November 25:

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Kemba Walker (CHA) vs. WAS 10
Isaiah Thomas (BOS) vs. PHI 10
Brandon Knight (PHO) vs. NO 9
Russell Westbrook (OKC) vs. BKN 9
Chris Paul (LAC) vs. UTA 8
Ricky Rubio (MIN) vs. ATL 7
John Wall (WAS) at CHA 7

Walker and Thomas benefit from manageable salaries and decent matchups. Walker is coming off his best game of the season where he dropped 39 points to go with six rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals.

Knight will cost a little bit more, but he's almost sure to return value. He's the most consistent DFS play in Phoenix and costs less than Westbrook by just enough to make him a slightly better play.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Deron Williams (DAL) at SA 6
Kyle Lowry (TOR) vs. CLE 6
Rajon Rondo (SAC) at MIL 6
Michael Carter-Williams (MIL) vs. SAC 6
Mike Conley (MEM) at HOU 5
Reggie Jackson (DET) vs. MIA 5
Jrue Holiday (NO) at PHO 5
Ish Smith (NO) at PHO 5
Goran Dragic (MIA) at DET 4
Tony Parker (SA) vs. DAL 4
Jarrett Jack (BKN) at OKC 4

Rondo is way too pricey to expect him to provide top value Wednesday in Milwaukee despite his recent hot streak. He and Lowry will normally be in the top group because they earn their salaries nightly.

Holiday starts but Smith plays more minutes for the Pelicans. Neither is your best play, but Holiday gets the edge because he's less expensive. Parker remains a better real-world PG than a DFS one. Williams, along with the Mavericks, have been quietly solid lately and his price doesn't fully reflect it.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Jeremy Lin (CHA) vs. WAS 3
Matthew Dellavedova (CLE) at TOR 3
Jerryd Bayless (MIL) vs. SAC 3
Dennis Schroder (ATL) at MIN 3
Jeff Teague (ATL) at MIN 3
Trey Burke (UTA) at LAC 3
Mario Chalmers (MEM) at HOU 3
T.J. McConnell (PHI) at BOS 2
Elfrid Payton (ORL) vs. NY 2
Isaiah Canaan (PHI) at BOS 2
Ty Lawson (HOU) vs. MEM 2
Cory Joseph (TOR) vs. CLE 2
Jose Calderon (NY) at ORL 1

These guys should only be considered if you've reached for a pair of high-priced names. Even then, Payton is too expensive and in danger of losing his starting job. Lawson did lose his starting job, and replacement Jason Terry isn't all that appealing despite being in the bargain bin. The PG situation in Atlanta is best avoided until Teague plays a few games returning from injury.

Chances are, if you spend up at other positions, one of these players could end up on your roster. Go cheap and hope for the best should this occur. But don't select Calderon, whatever you do.
