The Canucks needed a shootout to defeat the Calgary Flames in their season opener Saturday, then erased a three-goal deficit and got an overtime winner from Brandon Sutter to stun the Carolina Hurricanes on Sunday.
Vancouver will look to keep its fortunate streak going at home against the banged-up Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night.
