Here are theScore's catcher value rankings for Sunday, April 10:

Value Rankings

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Stephen Vogt (OAK) at SEA 10
Buster Posey (SF) vs. LAD 9
Wilson Ramos (WAS) vs. MIA 8
Jonathan Lucroy (MIL) vs. HOU 8
Miguel Montero (CHC) at ARI 8
Devin Mesoraco (CIN) vs. PIT 8

He gets my Vogt, and should certainly have yours too! Oakland's backstop is 11-for-21 against Mariners ace Felix Hernandez. Despite posting an OPS of .784 last season, Vogt is one of the cheapest catchers on the slate. Draft him in both cash games and tournaments.

Posey, Lucroy and Mesoraco all have great splits against LHP throughout their respective careers. As expected, Posey is the most expensive catcher available, but Lucroy and Mesoraco can be drafted without exposing your lineup.

Mid-Tier Targets

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Brian McCann (NYY) at DET 7
Salvador Perez (KC) vs. MIN 7
Nick Hundley (COL) vs. SD 7
Francisco Cervelli (PIT) at CIN 7
A.J. Pierzynski (ATL) vs. STL 7
Alex Avila (CWS) vs. CLE 6
Travis d'Arnaud (NYM) vs. PHI 6
Jason Castro (HOU) at MIL 6
Matt Wieters (BAL) vs. TB 5
Blake Swihart (BOS) at TOR 5
Russell Martin (TOR) vs. BOS 5
Derek Norris (SD) at COL 5

Perez has a solid .294 average against Ricky Nolasco in his career in 17 at-bats. Nolasco doesn't miss many bats and is usually around the zone, boding well for Perez's aggressive, free-swinging approach.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Yadier Molina (STL) at ATL 4
Hank Conger (TB) at BAL 3
James McCann (DET) vs. NYY 2
Robinson Chirinos (TEX) at LAA 1
Yan Gomes (CLE) at CWS 1
Kurt Suzuki (MIN) at KC 1

Despite being a better hitter against lefties, Gomes has looked lost at the plate against Jose Quintana. He's just 1-for-15 with seven punch outs. Don't waste your time and money with this Brazillian backstop on Sunday.
