Since president Pat Riley has yet to strike a deal with franchise player Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat could resort to using their closer.

Team owner Micky Arison, who brokered a deal between Wade and the Heat last summer, could possibly grab Wade for a one-on-one meeting on Wednesday, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Relations between Wade and the Heat are at an "all-time low," as described by Ethan J. Skolnick of the Miami Herald.

A pair of sit-downs convinced Wade to re-sign last summer. He first met with Heat CEO Nick Arison, then sat down with Micky Arison before agreeing to a one-year, $20-millon deal. The Arisons reassured Wade of his importance to the franchise.

This time around, Wade reportedly wants a two-year, $50-million contract from the Heat - a reasonable figure given the salary cap spike. Miami's offer is worth $40 million over two years.

Unimpressed with the figure, Wade is now scouring the market for a new home. The Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and Denver Nuggets are possible destinations.

Wade has a two-year, $52-million offer on the table from the Nuggets.

Another possibility would be to reunite with LeBron James as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, they could only offer Wade a $3.5-million deal unless the Cavs shed a tremendous amount of salary. Regardless, the two sides are expected to meet.

The 34-year-old Wade has spent his entire 13-year career in Miami. He's no longer in his prime, but he still averaged 19 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.6 assists last season before leading the Heat on a deep playoff run that came up one game short of the Eastern Conference Finals.
