All-Star shooting guard and unrestricted free agent Dwyane Wade will meet with Denver Nuggets officials on Wednesday in New York, sources told The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Team president Josh Kroenke, general manager Tim Connelly, and head coach Michael Malone will all reportedly be present.

The Nuggets reportedly offered the 34-year-old a two-year deal worth over $50 million, which is more than what the Miami Heat put on the table: reportedly just $40 million over two years.

While it's believed Wade will eventually come to terms on a new contract with the team that selected him fourth overall in the 2003 draft, the Nuggets reportedly remain optimistic the three-time champion will strongly consider the offer and potentially make the jump to the Mile High City.

Apparently feeling slighted by Miami prioritizing re-signing Hassan Whiteside and going after Kevin Durant, Wade has opened the lines of communication over the past few days with other teams, with the New York Knicks, Milwaukee Bucks, and Chicago Bulls all reportedly getting in on the action.

Wade averaged 19 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.6 assists last season in 74 appearances for the 48-34 Heat.
