In search of a depth upgrade on the defensive front, the Seattle Seahawks are meeting with free-agent tackle Brandon Thompson, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Thompson played each of his first four NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, appearing in 39 games and making seven starts over that stretch.
His 2015 campaign came to an end after just nine games when he suffered a torn ACL, but the early interest would appear to suggest that he's on track with his recovery.
The free-agent departure of Brandon Mebane, who landed with the San Diego Chargers last week, creates a relatively pressing need on the interior defensive line heading into 2016.
