DFS: Friday's Winger Value Rankings

Perry Nelson / USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's winger value rankings for Friday, November 6:

Value Rankings
C | W | D | G

# Name Opponent Risk
1 Taylor Hall (EDM) vs. PIT Low
2 Dylan Larkin (DET) at TOR Low
3 Jason Spezza (DAL) at CAR Low
4 Jamie Benn (DAL) at CAR Low
5 Patrick Kane (CHI) at NJ Low
6 Mats Zuccarello (NYR) at COL Low
7 Phil Kessel (PIT) at TOR Low
8 Gabriel Landeskog (COL) vs. NYR Low
9 Nail Yakupov (EDM) vs. PIT Medium
10 Patrick Sharp (DAL) at CAR Medium

Hall is on the best offensive roll among wingers, but somehow hasn't commanded the highest price. Any shortcomings the Oilers exhibit cannot be attributed to Hall, who has finally come into his own as a superstar. His value should not be reduced with the long term injury to teammate Connor McDavid. Yakupov has been impressive, as well.

Spezza's move to the wing seems to have helped his play, and he's a better bargain than linemate Benn, though the latter is still more explosive. Zuccarello is the best value on the Rangers, especially with Rick Nash hurt and struggling. Landeskog has a tough matchup, but if any of the Avs wingers can solve Henrik Lundqvist, it's him.

# Name Opponent Risk
11 Artemi Panarin (CHI) at NJ Medium
12 Oscar Lindberg (NYR) at COL Medium
13 Justin Abdelkader (DET) at TOR Medium
14 Tomas Tatar (DET) at TOR Medium
15 Kris Versteeg (CAR) vs. DAL Medium
16 Matt Hendricks (EDM) vs. PIT Medium
17 Rick Nash (NYR) at COL Medium
18 Michael Cammaleri (NJ) vs. CHI Medium
19 Scott Hartnell (CLB) at ANA Medium
20 Corey Perry (ANA) vs. CLB Medium
21 Brandon Saad (CLB) at ANA Medium
22 Jarome Iginla (COL) vs. NYR Medium
23 James van Riemsdyk (TOR) vs. DET Medium
24 Gustav Nyquist (DET) at TOR Medium
25 Kevin Hayes (NYR) at COL Medium

Panarin is a burgeoning playmaking machine - and affordable to boot. Abdelkader and Tatar get a plum matchup in Toronto. Neither costs much, and Tatar has three points with the man advantage so far. Nash is banged up and, like Cammaleri, costs more than his results are really worth paying for.

Speaking of starting slowly, Perry gets the best opportunity yet to snap out of his early funk against Columbus, though Sergei Bobrovsky is coming off his best start of the season. On the opposing end, Hartnell has a low ceiling but moderate floor and could be a nice fill-in flier.

# Name Opponent Risk
26 Kyle Palmieri (NJ) vs. CHI Medium
27 Teemu Pulkkinen (DET) at TOR Medium
28 Patric Hornqvist (PIT) at EDM Medium
29 Cam Atkinson (CLB) at ANA Medium
30 Chris Kreider (NYR) vs. COL High
31 Teuvo Teravainen (CHI) at NJ High
32 Jeff Skinner (CAR) vs. DAL High
33 Pascal Dupuis (PIT) at EDM High
34 Chris Kunitz (PIT) at EDM High
35 Lee Stempniak (NJ) vs. CHI High
36 Eric Fehr (PIT) at EDM High
37 Joffrey Lupul (TOR) vs. DET High
38 Marko Dano (CHI) at NJ High
39 Marian Hossa (CHI) at NJ High
40 Jakob Silfverberg (ANA) vs. CLB High

Of Palmieri's eight points, six have come on the power play. If the Blackhawks get in penalty trouble he is likely to light the lamp. Fehr has three points in two games and comes cheap. His small sample size doesn't do him favors, though, and historically he isn't anywhere close to a point-per-game player.

Hossa is ranked this low because he's questionable to play and his price is high despite this. If he plays, he could work as a last-minute GPP addition.
