Nixon's move to running back will give the Ragin' Cajuns some depth in the backfield behind star tailback Elijah McGuire, but it will also leave the quarterback competition wide open. Given that fellow quarterback Brooks Haack left the program in December, Jordan Davis and Chris Weaver will be the prime candidates to lock down the starting job heading into 2016.
