Silas Nacita: 'The bottom line is that I broke the rules'
Former Baylor running back Silas Nacita shed some light on an otherwise bizarre episode that blew up on Wednesday.
The once-homeless Nacita announced a day earlier that he was declared ineligible after he accepted improper housing benefits. To put it simply, he felt as though he was being disciplined for choosing to live under a roof as opposed to on the streets.
The NCAA denied those allegations and on Thursday morning, Nacita tried to clarify what he attempted to explain with his initial message.
"The bottom line is that I broke the rules," Nacita said in a Tweet. "I should've never accepted the help and I am deeply sorry for my actions."

Although Nacita indicates that he was in clear violation, he fails to reference the NCAA this time around after mentioning it twice in his initial claims.
Despite the whirlwind surrounding the matter, it's still unclear whether it was Baylor or the NCAA that ruled Nacita ineligible.
