Raptors convert Lawson to 2-year standard deal

The Toronto Raptors are converting two-way guard A.J. Lawson to a two-year standard NBA contract, his agents told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Lawson has been granted increased playing time with his hometown Raptors. He's averaging 8.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists across 24 games this season.
The 24-year-old is playing a career-high 18 minutes per game and shooting 33.3% from three.
Lawson posted a career-best 32 points March 10 in a victory over the Washington Wizards. He followed that up with 28 points in a win against the Philadelphia 76ers on March 12.
