Brooklyn Nets forward Jeff Green will miss a minimum of 10 days due to a strained plantar fascia, head coach Steve Nash told reporters on Thursday, including ESPN's Malika Andrews.

He'll be re-evaluated after that period.

Green suffered the injury during Brooklyn's Game 2 win over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. He left the contest in the second quarter with a bruised left foot and didn't return.

The 34-year-old has made an impact for the Nets all year while alternating between the starting lineup and the bench due to the team's injuries. He averaged 11 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while starting in 38 of 68 regular-season contests as Brooklyn juggled the absences of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden.

Green played over 26 minutes during the Nets' Game 1 win, recording three points, four rebounds, and three assists and finishing at plus-14. He was featured for just 12 minutes in Game 2, but the veteran managed six points before exiting with the injury.
