A widely reported trade between the Miami Marlins and Los Angeles Dodgers will involve a third team, the Atlanta Braves, with lots of veteran talent changing hands, according to multiple reports.

Though the deal has yet to be finalized, the Dodgers are poised to receive left-hander Alex Wood, reliever Jim Johnson, and infield prospect Jose Peraza from the Braves, while also acquiring right-hander Mat Latos and first baseman Michael Morse from Miami, reports Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports.

In exchange for their two hurlers and their prized prospect, the Braves will get Cuban infielder Hector Olivera and minor-league right-hander Zack Bird from Los Angeles along with a competitive balance draft pick.

The Marlins, meanwhile, will receive minor-league pitchers Jeff Brigham, Victor Araujo, and Kevin Guzman from the Dodgers after parting ways with Latos and Morse, two of the highest-paid players on their 25-man roster.

Details are still being sorted out, but matters escalated considerably since Wednesday morning, when it was first reported that the Marlins would send Morse and Latos to the Dodgers for a trio of prospects.
