The Detroit Tigers could restock the farm should they make ace David Price available.

With the non-waiver trade deadline approaching Friday, the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, and Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly poised to have an all-out bidding war for Price, according to Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY Sports.

General manager Dave Dombrowski has been adamant that his team will try to make a postseason push, but Detroit finds itself 4 1/2 games back of the second wild card with four teams ahead of the Tigers entering Wednesday.

The Blue Jays have already made a major splash by acquiring All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki from the Colorado Rockies, though general manager Alex Anthopoulos will need to address his rotation if the team hopes to end its more than two-decade postseason drought. Anthopoulos and Dombrowski have been involved in a trade before, exchanging Devon Travis for Anthony Gose prior to the start of this season.

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said last week that he didn't believe he would do anything significant leading up to the deadline. As the Bronx Bombers surprisingly find themselves with a comfortable lead in the division, a rotation consisting of Masahiro Tanaka, Michael Pineda, and Price would rival any starting trio from teams in the American League who are playoff bound.

The Dodgers are on the verge of landing right-hander Mat Latos from the Miami Marlins, though Nightengale notes that they're still hoping to land a top-tier starter, including Price or Cole Hamels of the Philadelphia Phillies.
