Here is a look at the Squad Up daily MLB fantasy picture for the six-game early slate beginning at 7:05 p.m. EST, Tuesday, April 18:

Hitter Stacks

  • New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox (RHP Miguel Gonzalez): Gonzalez has made a solid career out of being the fourth starter in pretty weak rotations. He's not awful, but he will give up hits and doesn't strike batters out. Enter: the Yankees lineup, which leads the league with a .366 wOBA vs. RHPs, as of Monday.

2-player stack: OF Aaron Judge (44K), 2B Starlin Castro (46K)

  • Baltimore Orioles at Cincinnati Reds (RHP Bronson Arroyo): The first two starts in Arroyo's return to the majors, after a two-year hiatus, have been awful. He has given up 11 earned runs (and four home runs) in just 10 innings. The Orioles are a lineup packed with sluggers who have collectively put up a .342 wOBA vs. RHPs so far this year.

3-player stack: OF Adam Jones (53K), 1B Chris Davis (58K), 2B Jonathan Schoop (40K)

  • Philadelphia Phillies at New York Mets (RHP Zack Wheeler): The Phillies rank just 18th in wOBA vs. RHPs but have managed to score the ninth-most runs per game in the majors -- 4.67. You don't want to go too deep into the lineup, but if you build a two-play stack around the great on-base skills of 2B Cesar Hernandez and OF Odubel Herrera, you'll give yourself a solid floor at an affordable price.

2-player stack: 2B Hernandez (45K), OF Herrera (47K)

Pitcher Breakdown

  • TARGET - RHP Michael Fulmer (76K), Tigers (at Rays): Fulmer has picked up right where he left off in his AL Rookie of the Year campaign, allowing just three earned runs and striking out 11 batters through 12 innings. The Rays have collectively struck out a league-worst 28.4 percent of the time vs. RHPs, while ranking in the bottom half of the league in walk rate, wOBA and runs per game.
  • BARGAIN - RHP Matt Andriese (58K), Rays (vs. Tigers): Andriese has allowed 12 hits and five earned runs through 10 innings pitched this season, picking up a no decision in each of his first two starts. He has walked four and struck out nine. The Tigers strike out in 24 percent of plate appearances against righties.
  • FADE - RHP Bronson Arroyo (63K), Reds (vs. Orioles): We don't need to pile on Arroyo again. He's 40 and not good at pitching anymore. He's also nearly twice as expensive as our contrarian play of the day.
  • CONTRARIAN - RHP Marcus Stroman (34K), Blue Jays (vs. Red Sox): The margin for error is so slim for Stroman, who has posted a sparking 1.76 ERA through 15 1/3 innings. It's how Stroman will have to pitch to return value, because he's not a major strikeout threat and the Jays' bats have been providing league-worst run support -- just 2.83 runs per game -- for their staff.

Bargain Plays

  • C Matt Wieters (39K), Nationals (at Braves): It's hard to find a veteran bat hitting above .300 with some power potential for under 40K, let alone at catcher. The Nationals are one of the top-scoring teams in the majors so far this season, so even though Wieters hit toward the bottom of the lineup, his total plate appearances shouldn't suffer greatly.
  • OF Tyler Collins (38K), Tigers (at Rays): Collins must have practiced with Headley in the offseason; he also boasts a ridiculously lucky .500 BABIP. If it's any consolation, Rays pitcher Matt Andriese hasn't been lucky -- he has earned every bit of his 4.50 ERA and 3.6 BB/9.

Top Fades

  • SS Troy Tulowitzki (53K), Blue Jays (vs. Red Sox): Even as his batting average has tailed off in recent years, Tulowitzki has been able to hang his hat on an above-average walk rate. Not so thus far in 2017, as he has managed a paltry .277 OBP.
  • 1B Lucas Duda (53K), Mets (vs. Phillies): Duda's early home run surge -- four through 45 plate appearances -- has him priced near the top of the corner infield position, but he has struck out in 14 of those PAs, with 13 Ks coming in just 37 PAs against right-handed pitchers, such as Phillies RHP Zach Eflin.
  • OF Kevin Kiermaier (51K), Rays (vs. Tigers): Kiermaier is posting a career-best walk rate of 11.5 percent, though he striking out in 26.2 percent of his plate appearances, easily the worst rate of his career. He is 3-for-4 stolen bases but just two of his 13 hits have gone for extra bases. A single won't return value in a tough matchup, against Fulmer.

Contrarian Plays

  • 1B Freddie Freeman (63K), Braves (vs. Nationals): The Braves have a tough matchup with RHP Max Scherzer on tap, but it may not be as daunting as it looks on paper. For whatever reason, Scherzer has struggled mightily against current Braves hitters, who have collectively hit .305 with a .909 OPS in 131 ABs against the reining Cy Young winner.
  • OF Yoenis Cespedes (62K), Mets (vs. Phillies): As previously mentioned, the core of the Mets' lineup hasn't received much help so far this year. It hasn't stopped Cespedes from returning incredible value. You can't count on his third multi-homer game in the past week, but he can still collect a pair of extra-base hits.
  • SS Xander Bogaerts (47K), Red Sox (at Blue Jays): Bogaerts will replace 2B Dustin Pedroia in the leadoff spot for Tuesday's game. His routine drop to sixth in the order has provided early promise for his stolen base contributions, as he is already a perfect 2-for-2. Both attempts and his only extra-base hit of the season have come against right-handed pitching. He should factor more into Tuesday's run production.
