Rougned Odor will soon learn his fate.

The Texas Rangers second baseman's appeal of his eight-game suspension for punching Jose Bautista will reportedly be heard by Major League Baseball on Tuesday, according to Jon Morosi of MLB Network.

Morosi added that Odor's appeal will be heard by MLB executive vice-president John McHale Jr., who should come to a final decision shortly thereafter.

The 22-year-old received the suspension for his punch, which triggered a massive brawl between the Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays. It also made Odor an internet sensation and a hero of sorts in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In the week since the melee, Odor has received free barbecue for life from a Fort Worth restaurant, had a beverage named in the punch's honor by a Rangers affiliate, and had scheduled an autograph session to sign the now-iconic image of his punch before the event was cancelled.

Odor has gone 4-for-17 at the plate with four strikeouts since his suspension was announced last Tuesday.
