Odor's paid autograph session for Bautista punch canceled

It turns out Rougned Odor won't be signing photos of his infamous punch, after all.

It was reported earlier Saturday that Odor would be at a Texas memorabilia shop on June 4 signing items for fans for $59, but for an extra $40, he would also sign photos of his right hook to Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista.

However, store manager Brett Kravitz told ESPN's Darren Rovell that the event had to be cancelled after "it got too big, too fast," and that Odor's representatives did not feel the timing was right with the second baseman's appeal process currently ongoing.

On Tuesday, Major League Baseball suspended the 22-year-old for eight games for the punch that incited a benches-clearing brawl last Sunday in Texas.
