Texas BBQ joint offers Odor free food for life for Bautista punch

Rougned Odor's punch on Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista earned him an eight-game suspension, but it wasn't all bad.

Odor will never have to pay for barbecue again, thanks to Heim Barbecue in Fort Worth, which has offered him free food for life as a thank-you for the punch.

"We just thought it would be a funny thing if we offered Rougie free food because he wasn't the only one who wanted to punch Bautista after last year," owner Travis Heim told NBC 5. "So you know, it's kind of a justice, a little bit."

Heim is also selling promotional T-shirts with the words "Rougned eats free" on the front. The response has been overwhelming.

"We originally were going to print 40," Heim said. "I think now we're up to close to 200."
